We’re the Palmer family—Chad, Liz, and Reid—based in Gilbert, Arizona. We travel to haunted hotels, ghost towns, and paranormal hotspots, document what we actually experience, and write it all up honestly. Our two older sons Jack and Ben join us when they can. This started as a family hobby and turned into something we couldn’t stop doing.

No. Every hotel we review is one we booked and paid for ourselves. We don’t accept free stays, comped rooms, or payment from venues in exchange for coverage. If a hotel was disappointing or not particularly haunted, we say so—because that’s the information you actually need before you book.

We believe in being honest about what we experience. Some things we’ve encountered have no easy explanation. Other reported hauntings turned out to be creaky floors and overactive imaginations. We’re not here to sell you on the supernatural—we’re here to tell you what actually happened and let you draw your own conclusions.

We’ve built up a kit over several years of field use. We use EMF meters, digital voice recorders for EVP sessions, full-spectrum cameras, and a few other tools we’ve tested and trust. You can see everything we use—and our honest take on each piece of equipment—on our Ghost Gear page.

We’re based in Gilbert, Arizona, so we’re starting close to home—Arizona has more haunted history than most people realize. We’re expanding from there as we go. Mostly, yes. Our youngest, Reid, has been part of this from the beginning—he’s genuinely enthusiastic about the paranormal and comes on most trips. We write honestly about what we experience, which sometimes includes genuinely unsettling things, but we don’t go for cheap shock value or graphic content. If your kid loves ghost stories and haunted history, they’ll probably love this site.
